For the first time since 2002, the PGA Tour has scheduled the Korn Ferry King & Bear Classic on June 18-21 on the King & Bear Championship Golf Course that was designed by Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus.
This marks the re-start of PGA Tour’s 2020 season after the TPC tournament was canceled due to Covid-19. The PGA will work within national and local guidelines to determine the safety of opening future tournaments to the general public.
Golf coming back just makes sense. It is the rare sport that can be played outside and at distances that comply with governmental and medical recommendations.
Although the tournament will not be televised and there will be no fans, there will be some lucky Laterra Links residents who will have “first row seats” from their lanais and back yards that back to the front 9 of the course! “ This is Emiliano Grillo at the last TPC event.
