Local School Information

Once you purchase a home in SummerCrest, your children will have the privilege of attending public school at one of the fantastic Marion County Schools. The local schools serving your child in the SummerCrest population are Belleview-Santos where your child will be proud to learn and grow at the Home of the Yearlings, Belleview Middle School the Home of the Panthers, and Belleview High School where your student will finish out their public schooling as a Belleview Rattler. In addition to our public schools, there are Private Schools available such as, Trinity Catholic High School, St. John's Lutheran K-12 and several more private schools to choose from.

For your child's continuing education, there is the College of Central Florida and the Community Technical Adult Education (CTAE), location in Ocala. Thirty-five miles to the north, in Gainesville, Florida is the University of Florida, which ranked 47th out of 199 US colleges.
